Create scent trails

Scent trails allow website users to follow a path through your website based on your marketing. The concept is pretty simple. Grab the users interest for a particular product or service and then lead them to a goal.

Capture the interest of a user with text, an image or both. Then when a user clicks to find out more about their interest, ensure that the theme remains. By this we mean the same image appears, or the text is related to your advert text. Breaking the scent trail will cause abandonment.

Landing pages are ideal for scent trails. Advertise a product or service then lead the user to an optimised page on your site which follows and maintains the theme of the advert. The easier your scent trail is to follow the easier it is for your user to convert. .
