HTML Suggestions
Google gives you suggestions to improve your website.
Google provides a facility called HTML suggestions. It identifies certain issues with your website, particularly to do with Titles and Meta descriptions. If you act on these suggestions you can improve your search position and the user experience of your website.
To see this facility you need to sign in to Google's webmaster tools with your google account.
www.google.com/webmasters/tools/
If you do not have a google account you will be able to create one.
To Do:
Add your website to google and follow the procedure they ask.
Add the www. version of your domain and your non www version.
You may need your webmaster to upload a bit of code that google gives you.
You will be asked to verify the website
when the code is uploaded.
After a couple of days come back to the webmaster tool, click on your domain name then click Diagnostics -> HTML Suggestions
It will provide you a list of issues which you will need to get corrected. It is highly recommended to correct these issues as they will benefit both your users experience of your site and also the way that the search engines understand what each of your pages is about.
