How we do it

Each package uses various techniques to improve search engine position for your keywords. These techniques include but are not limited to Directory submissions – local, national and global Article syndication*, Press releases **, Social Bookmarking, Profile pages, Blogging and Blog commenting.

Each package has all of these technique but to varying levels depending on the strategy chosen and the website. We are dynamic and proactive in the way that we use these techniques. The best techniques will be used based on results and goals achieved by our work. We do not use a production line approach, we use a strategic approach based on our skills and knowledge. We would expect to see results from 4-6 weeks but a realistic page one target is around 4-6 months although this is dependent on the competitiveness of the keyword phrase(s) we target.

Our work for your website promotion would be split into a few parts. The initial keyword analysis, changes required to the website, the initial blast to the search engines and then the ongoing promotional work.

Keyword Analysis

A comprehensive study to target which keywords we should allocate to which page. This will create a site map which will be essential to achieve our success targets and will give us the flexibility to add more pages/keywords in a defined, planned way. The home page will have a primary and secondary keyword allocated to it. Subsequent pages will be targeting a single keyword. Decisions on the final keywords used will be the clients, Motive will provide recommendations. Package 1 keyword analysis involves homepage targeting only.

On Site Optimisation

Meta Descriptions: Review and implementation of meta descriptions which are too short or duplicated. List of authority links to be added to relevant pages (e.g. certification, member bodies etc) Content formatting of keyword text on each page. Review of site map strategy.

Off Site Optimisation

It is Motive9’s policy to provide all our web promotion clients (excluding package1) with an initial blast in the search engines for their website. This incorporates 2500 directory submissions, 50 social bookmark submissions and 100 article directory submissions. We would also need to set up the following

Google Webmaster tools * - Webmaster tools allow us to identify any issues and correct accordingly.

Google places* - Places and Local provide additional traffic to your website via local searches

*These will require your own Google account. If you do not have one, we will help set this up for you.

Reporting

You will receive weekly report automatically from your Google analytics account based on the factors which measures our success. Monthly you will receive a search engine ranking report. Records are kept of all work done and these are available free of charge on request.

Articles and Press Releases

* Articles can either be written by our copywriter at an additional fee or by yourself. Articles should be a minimum of 500 words and should be about your keyword subject matter (how to’s, faqs etc). They should not include your company name as they are not advertisements as such. Your company name and advertising will be used in the author notes.

** Press releases again can be written by our copywriter at an additional fee or by yourself. Press releases can include your company name and are advertisements.
